I want to add a brake controller to my 2022 Ford Explorer. It looks like I have a port to plug one in under the dash and I already have a 7-way connection. What do you recommend?

For your 2022 Ford Explorer I recommend the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller # RED24FR. This is a proportional brake controller so the braking is based on the deceleration of your vehicle. The main unit installs out of sight and the control knob installs anywhere in the dash. This helps keep a clean, factory look inside of your vehicle.
The control knob allows you to adjust the braking power, and also acts as a manual override. It also has a colored LED light for diagnostics. This brake controller also has active calibration technology so it is constantly monitoring your direction of travel and adjusts accordingly.
For installation, you will also want the Plug-and-Play Wiring Harness # RED87FR. This wiring harness will plug into the port under the dash in your Explorer for an easy installation.
