Video Transcript for Review of Kuat LED Light Kit - KU29SR

Hi, everyone. Steven here with etrailer. Let's take a look at our light kit for the Kuat Piston ION e-bike platform two-bike rack. So folks, this is a LED light bar kit for that Kuat Piston rack that I just mentioned. That's sold separately. If you don't have the rack, it's item number ION22B.

And what this will do will give you all your brake, stop, turn, tail, lights on the back of the bike rack. It has a nice length of cord. There are magnets built into this every so many inches. You also have in the end that four-way flat connection. You have multiple connectors here with Deutsch connectors to connect them.

They're going to go through and around the bike frame itself, and they have plastic caps here to finish off the look. And then there's screw holes on both sides of the light bars. And you're going to have screws included and the tool to mount those screws as well. So it's a very nice kit, very well made. You have just the right amount of cable and everything you need.

Again, you have magnets here to magnetize the corer to the bike rack. That way you can keep the cords out of the way. I do have a test box with me today so we can go ahead and light this up for you and show you all the functions both in the daytime and with the two lights off. So let's back up here and take a look. We got taillights, left turn, brakes, and right turn.

So I do want to go ahead shut off the overhead lights in the studio so we can take a look in the dark. As you can see, LED, obviously super bright, long lasting, all that good stuff. And it just makes you more visible, and it gives you that visibility you need the way other motorists out there and pedestrians alike can see you. And here's an image of what this looks like whenever it's installed on that rack to give you a better idea of just how good it's going to light up. So in this case, it looks like it's on a Ram van, and it's doing a great job of giving those pedestrians, motorists behind you a clear, safe look at what's going on and still being able to carry those bikes and everything safely. So it bolts right to the right and left side of the top tray. And again, you can route the cable cleanly and give you a nice OE look. Folks, that's going to wrap up our look together.
