325-GH-12010 what is the thickness of the ball mount plate ?

I reached out to Gen-Y, who told me the thickness is approximately 1/2" for the Gen-Y Glyder Shock Absorbing Ball Mount for 2" Hitches - 2" Drop - 7K # 325-GH-12001 and the 6" Drop # 325-GH-12005.
Along with that, the platform has a 1 inch diameter hole, so for a hitch ball you will need 2-5/16" Hitch Ball # 63847 or 2" Hitch Ball # 40038.
It does not come with a hitch pin or lock, so I highly recommend adding a lock, the Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock for 2" Hitches # e98880.
