Question:

I need to get a bed cover to protect my B&W Companion 5th wheel hitch when we are not out camping. I have a 22 GMC Sierra 3500 with an 8 foot bed and prefer to get a retractable option so it doesn't block the rear window. I have a buddy that has a Retrax on his truck and he really likes it. Is there an option for this truck?

We actually have two Retrax tonneau covers available for your 2022 GMC Sierra 3500 with the 8 foot bed. Both of these will definitely be great retractable options for keeping your hitch safe and secure from the elements, but the RetraxPRO XR # RTT-80485 is designed with tracks in the side rails for a ladder rack and may not really be applicable for what you need it for, so this will be the only time I mention it.

With that said, check out the RetraxPRO MX Hard Tonneau Cover # RT80485. This retractable hard tonneau cover is American made, clamps right on to your bed rails, and even has a 500 pound weight capacity if needed. The Locking handle also lets you secure the cover open at any point along the way, so it doesn't need to be completely open even when you are using your 5th wheel.
