For a 4 pole trailer wiring harness, you'll want to go with part # 118727.
If you needed a 7-way trailer connector, you'd start by installing the # 118727 to access the lighting circuits. How you'd proceed from there will depend on the trailer you're wanting to tow. If the trailer doesn't have brakes, and your future plans don't involve towing a trailer that has brakes, you can simply use the # 37185 4-pole to 7-way adapter.
If the trailer has brakes, you'll want to install a brake controller to actuate them. I'd recommend the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty, part # RED24FR. You'll also need the # RED69FR wiring pigtail. The controller mounts under the dash so it's out of sight, and so you won't whack your knee on it. The braking is adjusted by using the control knob that is mounted within easy reach of the driver. If you have any unused switch knockouts on the dash or center console, that would be the perfect spot. If you don't have a knockout available, a mounting bezel like part # 331-TPSI-001 would make for a tidy, professional looking installation.
To install the controller, use our # ETBC7 Brake Controller Installation Kit, which includes all the wire, hardware and circuit breakers needed to complete the installation. The # 37185 adapter mentioned above is also included.
I've linked to some installation instructions and videos that you might find helpful.
