Must you use a trim kit or can I just attach plywood to the slides? I dont need / want a 24inch wide slide

Expert Reply:
The trim kit like # LC370676 is going to add ends to keep you cargo from falling out and stability to the plywood bottom. Since it is designed to work with the rails # LC370785 it'll make putting the pieces together much easier. If you choose to forgo the trim kit you would need cut additional pieces make the ends, purchase screws to attach all the pieces together and add supports for the bottom of the plywood board. Using different parts than what the original design dictates will give you an unknown weight capacity as well so you'll have to keep that in mind when loading anything into this.
