Need to pack some stuff for your next camping trip, but don't know how to organize it all? Load this tray up with heavy camping and hiking gear, tools, power cords, and totes, and have peace of mind that it's beefy enough to handle the weight. Even fully loaded, you can easily slide the tray out of your RV or camper and quickly grab what you need throughout your trip. You may end up sacrificing some usable space in your cargo compartment, but it's well worth it for the accessibility - and to not have to crawl in and root around for your gear!

Hi, everyone, Steven here with etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at this MORryde RV cargo sliding tray. It's gonna be 36 by 23 inches, and it's a one-way slide. And it can slide 60% extension and hold an impressive 800 pounds capacity. So folks, this tray will slide out whenever you need to use it and whenever it's installed correctly. It'll slide out, again, up to 60% and hold all your gear and stuff and eliminate the need for you to have to crawl into those dark, dingy, tight spaces that are cluttered usually and maybe potentially have some bugs and creatures lurking (laughing) inside of those compartments.
So very nice addition to any camper or RV or travel trailer or whatnot. The bottom here is carpeted, so that also helps keep your stuff from shifting whenever you're driving around. And it's in a tray, so if stuff does potentially flip over, you've got something nice and solid to, you know, maintain everything to where it's not gonna go shifting around anymore. Now, zooming in, you can see over here, you've got this blue safety latch. That just simply lets you open.
It automatically latches back when it's closed. Keep in mind, I don't have this installed to anything, so I gotta put some back pressure on it. So again, it can go out a full 60%. You're gonna get a set of instructions with it on how to install it, all those kinda things, and of course, a bag full of hardware for installing it as well. Now, one thing to note, if you need, for whatever reason, to raise this up a little bit to give you a little bit more clearance opening and closing, we carry a height adjustment kit sold separately.
You can find that on the product page you're on. Otherwise, it's item number CTG54-001. That's CTG54-001. And again, that's sold separately to help clear your trailer compartment lifts, those kinda things if you need it. Now, overall, like I mentioned, it's 36 long on the outside by 23 on the outside.
The interior dimension, on the inside, I got 19 7/8 wide by about 34 1/4 inches. Again, that's your inside space. Now, it is made of a durable, (metal clanking) heavy-duty steel construction with a nice gray powder coat finish. And again, it's a bolt-on installation in that storage compartment with the included hardware. The tray comes preassembled, just like you see here. So you're gonna get it in a box, take it outta the box, and you're ready to install just like that. So it's a nice, quick installation as far as that part goes. So again, read the instructions that come with. Take your time and you should have no problems installing it. So they do a nice job, colored instructions and everything, and I recommend, if you have help, it's gonna be a lot easier with a two-person lifting this and whatnot. Again, the weight capacity is 800 pounds, very impressive. Again, even at that 60% pull-out, 800 pounds. Now, some other things you might think about doing that I kinda thought about potentially, you could slide this out and maybe put some kind of a tabletop or something like that whenever it's extended and create a workstation or a picnic table. So you know, use your imagination to think about those kinda things. It could be something as simple as, you know, putting a piece of plywood on top or something when the time comes for a tabletop or something. Well folks, that is gonna wrap it up. I wanna thank you so much for joining me today. This has been our look at the MORryde RV cargo sliding tray, 36 inches by 23 inches. Have a good one.
