Question:

I have a 2018 Jay Feather Travel Trailer single axle. We travel a lot on dirt rutted roads. I have two questions. 1. I would like to flip the axle and put the leaf springs on top. Do you sell the bracket to put on the other side of the axle to mount the leaf spring to? 2. In order to flip the axle on your 2018 Jayco Jay Feather Travel Trailer you will need an over-under conversion kit. In order to choose the right kit you will need to know the diameter of your axle. You need the Dexter Trailer Springs Over-Under Conversion Kit # K71-384-00 if you have a 2-3/8" axle and the # K71-385-00 if you have a 3" axle.

The Lippert Bolt-On Shock Kit w/ Heavy Duty Gas Shocks # LC281281 will do a great job absorbing road shock and vibration on the dirt roads you're taking your travel trailer on, and will be the best option after flipping your axle. Just like with the over-under conversion kit, you will need to select the right shock kit based on your axle size. The # LC281255 is designed for a 2-3/8" axle and the # LC281281 fits a 3" axle.
