Best Shock Kit to Use with Lippert Center Point Suspension System

Question:
Can the Roadmaster Comfort Ride Shock Absorbers for Tandem Axle Trailers - 5,200-lb to 7,000-lb Axle be mounted facing away from the center of the axles? I have a 2016 Grand Design Solitude 321RL. I would like to use the Roadmaster Comfort shock kit with the Lippert Center Point Suspension. The Roadmast Shock instrutions show that they are to be mounted facing the center of the axles and mount lower than the spring plate that is over the axle giving room for the correct shock angle. The Lippert Shock kit instructions show they are mounted angled away from the center of the axles but with the axle over the spring plate. My axle is mounted under the spring plate so the Lippert shocks mount on top of the spring plate would be at the wrong angle and/or not have enough clearance.

Thanks for reaching out again, Scott!
I recommend using the Lippert Bolt-On Shock Kit # LC281281 over the Roadmaster Comfort Ride # RM-2460 for your application. Both will install with the axle located below the leaf spring stack and the Lippert shock system will accommodate the Lippert Center Point # LC1565391 better.
I spoke with my contact at Roadmaster and they said they haven't tested their system with the shocks facing away from the middle of your axle system so they can't verify that it will work the way it should.
