Question:
Hello. I want to install a tow hitch on a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. I found the hitch I want to use on your site. My question is with the wiring. How do I find out if it is prewired for a tow package? Thank you.

As you do not have a receiver on your 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited I would say it is safe to assume that you did not have the factory tow package included on your vehicle. You can always contact a Jeep dealer for a build sheet for your specific VIN to determine if it may have been removed by a previous owner, it would require you to purchase the Jeep specific wiring from your dealer to use the tow package wiring if it is missing and was included on your Jeep from the factory.
I recommend using the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118727 to give your Jeep a 4-way flat connector. This will allow for you to pull most small trailers and use Auxiliary Lights # C53201 with any bike rack or cargo carrier that will block the view of your tail lights. If your trailer requires electric brakes you will need a Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller # ETBC7 to install a Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller # 90195.
For the Receiver I do recommend the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 75699 as it uses a hidden cross tube and has a welded on tab for the 4-way Mounting Bracket # 18144 or a 7-way mounting bracket that comes with the Universal Installation Kit. I have linked an installation video below that will show you the installation process for this receiver.
