Question:
Can I take my Trailer Valet 5x trailer jack version, that mounts to the trailer frame and replace the jack portion with to a ball base attachment and use it on the hitch instead? The jack seems to be removable.

I have an answer for you. Unfortunately, you will not be able to use the Trailer Valet 5x # STC-V211 with a ball base attachment to use it on a hitch. However, if you want to attach your jack to a coupler, I recommend the Trailer Valet XL Trailer Dolly with Chain Drive - 2-5/16" Hitch Ball # TVXL25. The great thing about the XL is that the hitch ball base can be adjusted up and down to change ball height for leveling.
