The Blue Ox SwayPro Weight Distribution w/ Sway Control - Clamp On - 7,500 lbs GTW, 750 lbs TW, part # BXW0756, can work for your 2017 Chevy Colorado z71. There will be some things that you must think about when using weight distribution. This weight distribution system is designed to work with trailers with loaded tongue weights between 550 lbs and 750 lbs. Your tongue weight is usually 10% - 15% of your gross trailer weight + the weight in your tow vehicle behind the rear axle. If that total does not exceed 750 lbs, you should not have any problems. I can help find something that will work for you if your tongue weight does exceed 750 lbs.
I have included a video review link below.
