Why is it Not Recommended to Use MaxxFan Roof Vent Above Shower

Question:
Why is it not recommended to install above the shower? Seems like you could just keep it running and minimize the humidity that might affect the electronics.

While we have heard of people using electrical vents like the MaxxFan Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan # MA00-07000K above a tub/shower, it is not meant to be installed in that location because water from the shower and steam can potentially affect the electronics.
