Do Newer MaxxFan Roof Vents Have Upgraded Control Board to Handle Higher Voltage

Question:
I see a lot of online chatter about the MaxxFan control board getting fried with the higher voltages typically up to 14.4V used to charge the lead-acid house batteries in our RV. But there is also some chatter that the newer boards are designed to accept the standard automotive voltage range up to 15V. The MaxxFan website doesnt seem to address this - no spec that I could find on maximum voltage. Do you have direct information from the Mfr that could give us confidence that the boards will work properly?

Hey Kerry, thanks for reaching out about this!
The newer boards in the MaxxFan Deluxe Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan # MA00-05301K (also part # MA10A21276K for only the circuit board) are compatible with the higher voltage you referenced. I've actually reached out to MaxxAir about this twice since I've been made aware of this issue and both times they've said the boards have been corrected.
Not sure why they wouldn't address it on their site since it's a widely-known issue, but that's up to them I guess.
