Ladder Rack Compatible with Thule Hullavator Pro for Heavy Kayaks

Question:

A huge thank you! Can you recommend a few replacement tonneau covers as well? The one I have is an above the rails type……

Thank you for all of the info! I do have a solution for you but it working really relies on if the rails of the tonneau cover you have for your 2020 Ford F-350 short bed mount inside the bed rails or on top of them. If they mount inside the bed rails then you can use the Thule TracRac SR # TH43003XT-785. If they mount on top of the bed rails then we will need to find you a different tonneau cover as your cover isn't compatible with any ladder rack.

The Thule Hullavator Pro # TH898 will fit just fine on the TracRac SR as long as you use the T-Slot mounting hardware. The Hullavator Pro can carry kayaks up to 36" wide and 75 lbs so your Hobie Compass will fit just fine on this carrier.

I'd be more than happy to help you out with a replacement tonneau cover! If you're wanting a simple, cost-effective replacement then I recommend the TruXedo Lo Pro # TX579101 which is a soft, roll-up cover that basically gives your truck bed some protection from the elements. For something that looks just as good but offers more protection I recommend the BAK Revolver which comes with a gloss black finish as the X2 # BAK39330 or a matte black finish as the X4 # BAK99ZR. The Revolver is a favorite around here because it combines the sleek look of a soft cover with the durability and security of a hard cover. This is also a go-to recommendation to fit with the TracRac SR. The best of the best goes to our line of retractable covers. Price and quality range from manual operation like what you find with the JackRabbit # 311-JEFA18A44 up to the powered operation of the UltraGroove # 311-KEFA18A44. Personally I recommend going with the BAK Revolver, but hopefully this short list gives you a good idea of what options you have available!
