Question:
Good day, I have a good Sam magnetic tow light, at least 5 years old. I have a inop light and was wondering how to replace the burnt out bulb. Thank you for your response.

Most of the time the lenses on magnetic tow lights will be able to just pop off, but not always. If there is a gap between the lens and the base, it will work. If there is no gap and the lens is sealed to the base, you will need to replace the whole unit with something like the Hopkins Magnetic Tow Lights # C6304. The LED lights will tend to last much longer than incandescent lights and will draw less power, so it is highly recommended.
If you do have the gap and can get the lens off, most of these will use the Replacement Light Bulb # 1157 # A1157B, but you will definitely want to verify that before ordering.
If by chance the lens is damaged in this process, we do have the Replacement Tail Light Lens # A52RB and Amber # A52AB. These will both measure 4-1/4" in diameter and will most likely be the replacement needed.
