Will this controller work as an add on to an existing RV TV lift? The current lift only has a manual switch in the cabinet. I would like to add a more autonomous control.

The Replacement Controller and RF Remote for Lippert TV Lift System # LC253395 will not work on your existing RV T.V. lift due to the controller being specific to the motor.
The motor, Lippert part 325978; has it's own pigtail that plugs into the controller. Buying just the controller and the remote would not solve your issue, you'd have to replace the entire T.V. lift with the Lippert TV Lift System with RF Remote # LC309690.
