As far as quality, the Draw-Tite hitch is "Tested Tough," which means it has been rigorously tested and exceeds the industry standards for construction. As far as the similarities, both hitches have a maximum tongue weight capacity of 750 pounds and a gross towing rating of 5,000 pounds. They both also have 2-inch hitch openings and include bolt-on installations.

Given the fact that the Draw-Tite exceeds the industry standard and is the more economical option, I recommend the Draw-Tite hitch over the Curt hitch for your 2021 Subaru Ascent.
