Question:
Wiring my topper. Do I need to install resistors for wiring rear tail lights regular to LED or does the module I bought C56196 work without them. Because I dont want my brake light to flash.

Expert Reply:
Yes, you will need to install resistors like the Optronics Load Resistor for LED Lights - Male PL-3 Plug and Pigtail # ALEDRST1B or the Optronics Load Resistor for LED Lights - Male PL-3 Plug and Female PL-3 Plug # ALEDRST2B.
The Curt 2 to 3 Wire Tail Light Converter # C56196 is not compatible with LED lights and will need resistors.
