Allen Bolt Tight on Swagman XC2 Bike Rack

Question:

I am trying to fit my new Swagman XC2 onto a 1-1/4 inch receiver but cannot remove the Allen bolt to get the sleeve is slid off. Any advice? I don't want to strip the bolt in the process. Thanks!

I've never heard of not being able to remove the Allen bolt for the Swagman XC2 Bike Rack # S64650. The rack should have come with two wrenches, one of which is for that bolt. Some people have said that they can be tight, so the only advice I can give is that some old-fashioned elbow grease should do the trick. I would not worry at all about stripping the bolt, that wouldn't happen simply by removing it.
