Features to know about

Built for Real Highway Miles: Load Range E with 75-mph Speed Rating

When you’re heading out for long hauls or cross-country runs, this combo is made to stay steady and cool. The Westlake ST225/75R15 radial tire is Load Range E with a 10-ply rating and a 2,830-lb maximum load at 80 psi. The radial construction uses double steel belts, double polyester plies, and nylon tread-firming belt overlays that help prevent tread separation. It’s designed for highway use with sturdy sidewalls to handle heavy loads while keeping heat buildup low at sustained 75-mph speeds.

Rustproof Style that Lasts: Glossy Black Liger Aluminum Wheel

Moisture, salt, and road grime won’t stand a chance. The 15" x 6" aluminum Liger wheel is lightweight, durable, and rustproof with a glossy black automotive-grade clear coat on the front face to resist scuffs and scratches. Steel inserts in the lug nut wells prevent the holes from wearing down over time and keep the wheel secure on the hub. The six-spoke design looks sharp while you get the peace of mind that comes with corrosion resistance that holds up season after season.

Mounted and Ready on Arrival: Tire-and-Wheel Assembly Meets DOT Specs

No extra mounting or shop time needed. This Westlake tire comes already installed on the Lionshead aluminum wheel, meeting DOT, FMVSS, and SAE J1204 standards. It’s fully inflated out of the box so you can bolt it on and go, knowing the combined capacity is 2,830 lbs. The assembly includes a high-pressure TR600HP valve stem and uses a common 6 on 5-1/2" bolt pattern with 1/2"-20 studs and a 4.25" pilot hole for straightforward fitment confidence.

Extra Coverage When You Need It: Complimentary Roadside Assistance

Flat tire on the road? This setup includes Lionshead’s complimentary roadside assistance for 2 years, with flat tire service available 24/7 anywhere in the United States, Canada, or Puerto Rico. The Westlake tire also carries a 5-year warranty plus a 1-year No Excuses Guarantee that covers free replacement if it’s damaged within the first year, along with a flat labor rate for mounting the replacement tire.

Determining Bolt Pattern

1. Count the lug holes

Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).

Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug

2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)

Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.

Center to Center
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"

2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)

Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).

Center to Outside Edge
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

I am hoping these last longer than the last set. I do like the product/price. Wheels? Great. As always, etrailer did a superb job in getting the product out and delivered on time. Thanks

by:

Super fast shipping. Exactly what I ordered as described.

by:

Service is excellent. Super fast shipping. Received my wheel and tire within two days….

by:

Needed a specific wheel and tire combo for our food truck - talked with Mike L. and found no worries. Excellent transaction = A+ Thanks Mike

by:

Just what my car hauler needed. Fresh tires and wheels. Especially wheels that look good with my lifted F250 wheels.

by:

I really like the tire & wheel. I don't like the fact you put a sticker on the wheel. even though it is a warning about to only use soap & water. The adhesive on the sticker is so strong you need chemical to remove. So contradict the sticker in the first place.

by:

The only thing that would make this purchase better would be to include center caps.

by:

I am very happy with the decision to purchase these tires. They are heavy duty and probably beyond my needs, but for the price, it is worth the peace of mind. I initially thought that the nitrogen was a gimmick, but I can tell you that after having them just about a year now, I have never even had to top off the pressure.

by:

I have not been able to put this on my trailer yet, but having fully inspection of the tire and rim looks amazing to what I ordered.

by:

I haven’t driven more than about 10 feet on it yet, but it makes my other tires look like junk. I think I’ll be needing to order 3 more.
I really like that it is prefilled with nitrogen. My trailer tires get low when it gets cold out and I always accidentally fill them to 35 Lbs because that’s what the pump is set to stop at, so being under inflated the side walls ended up getting wrecked. The nitrogen has so far not seemed to have contracted at all while my other tires are constantly needing to be topped up.
The rim also looks much better than the stock trailer rims. I’ll update my review if necessary once the weather gets nicer and I start actually driving on the tire.

by:

Very happy with the look! Went with the stainless steel center caps and chrome lug nuts. Matches the boat. Heavy duty tires.

by:

The tires arrived very fast and they look great. I'm very happy with my purchase and will buy again from etrailer.

These made a huge difference in the looks of my trailer. etrailer is great about shipping their products. Took about three days to deliver!

Fast shipping

by:

Great service from website ordering to tracking the delivery,
Will be ordering one more of the same plus tires and wheels for my other trailers, 1

by:

Great tires. Best on the market for 15". High load rating and have held up great so far. Love that they're mounted & balanced before shipping!!! Filled with nitrogen at 80psi so they were ready to go once I got them. Tire wear is holding up great so far.

by:

The product I ordered arrived on time, and was excellent! The customer service I experienced from start to finish was wonderful. Great communication, and I look forward to ordering more products for our trailer.

by:

I was throughly impressed and satisfied with my order of a spare tire for my ATC ROM 400 car hauler. I was very fearful of receiving a tire that was not an exact copy of tires already on trailer. The tire eTrailer sent was an exact match, both the wheel and tire. I'm now ready for the road. eTrailer has been batting 100 with timely response to all my orders and providing excellent merchandise.

  • Can Liger Trailer Wheel Handle 95 PSI
Hey John, the Westlake ST225/75R15 Trailer Tire with Glossy Black Liger Aluminum Wheel # LH36FR that you referenced can easily handle 95 psi. The limiting factor would actually be the valve stem so as long as you go with one that is rated for at least that much like the part # AM20906 you'd be set! Do yo have a tire picked out already?

  • Will the Aluminum Liger Trailer Wheel Work w/a 225/75R15 Tire?
Yes, it will! For a 225/75R15 tire you're going to want at least a 6" wide wheel. The Aluminum Liger Trailer Wheel item # LH49FR is a 15" x 6" rim that has a 6 on 5-1/2 lug pattern. This wheel has a 2,830 lbs capacity and comes with a valve stem. We have a couple of options for center caps that fit this wheel. I have listed them below: Lionshead Trailer Wheel Center Cap w/ Snap-In Plug - 4.25" Pilot - Stainless Steel item # LHCS108-SI60C Replacement Center Cap for 15" or 16" Aluminum...

  • Should Off-Road Trailer Tires Be Swapped With Regular Trailer Tires For Long Distance Travel
Your Westlake ST235/75R15 Radial Off-Road Trailer Tires - Load Range D # WST54FR are designed to perform off-road and on the highway. Unlike standard trailer tire tread, the deep, rugged tread on these tires channels water away so that the tire makes better contact with the road. This greatly improves traction during wet, snowy, or icy conditions. Because of this, the tire is specifically designed for off-roading on uneven terrain such as mud, sand, and grass, although it performs well...

  • Recommended Tire and Wheels for 2002 520dvx Ranger Single Axle Boat Trailer
You are correct in your understanding. Some people interchange the word wheel with rim, but they are the same thing and then of course you have tires. Wheels are usually rated for weights as are tires, so combinations that are made on our site will have the lesser capacity of the two for the max capacity. As you stated, each wheel and tire is rated based on just that single side, so you will double that for your axle. You are correct if that surpasses your axle capacity, you will...

  • PSI Pressure for Load Range E Trailer Tire in Size 225/75-15
I recommend the Karrier Load Range E tire # AM10303 Load Range E weight rating. Trailer tires will require a specific psi pressure in order to deliver their maximum weight carrying capacity. All of our E-rated tires in size 225/75-15 require 80-psi cold inflation pressure and all have a weight capacity of 2830-lbs per tire. You can see all of these tires on the linked page. I don't offer a load range E tire in the 205/75-15 size, but we do in the 225/75-15. A 225/75-15 tire would be one inch wider which would move the inner sidewall of the tire 1/2 inch closer to the trailer. The tire is 1 inch larger in diameter which would raise your travel trailer's ride height by 1/2 inch. • Lug Nut Recommendation for Use with Lionshead Wheel and Tire part # LH36FR 1/2 inch Stud
For a set of lug nuts for a 1/2-20 wheel stud used with the Lionshead wheel and tire part # LH36FR you would want to use the part # LHLR103. These are stainless steel and the correct cone angle, 60 degrees. Your stud length is a standard length and wouldn't be an issue either.

  • Torque Specs for Lions Head Bobcat Wheel Used on LH36FR Wheel Tire Combo
According to Lion's Head, the recommended torque value for the 1/2 inch lug nuts use by their Lynx Wheel used on their # LH36FR wheel/tire combo is 90-120 lb-feet. This is typical for a steel wheel, but because Lion's Head uses steel sleeves in the lug opening as a reinforcement, structurally speaking, the wheel can handle that torque value with no problem. I've linked to a product description video featuring the # LH36FR wheel/tire combo. For lug nuts, I'd recommend the # 12CLN.
