Question:
I have a long camper and use a 48inch 45018. how do I install a weight dist hitch when the end of the drawbar is that far from the bumper? What weight dist hitch should I use?

Think of the end of the Titan hitch extender, # RP45018, as a long trailer hitch receiver. You will put the weight distribution shank in the end of the extension just like you normally would and perform the set up the same on the trailer end.
The weight distribution system you choose will be based on the tongue weight of the trailer when loaded and ready to tow plus the weight of the part of the truck bed camper that is behind the rear axle of the truck. However when using the extension with weight distribution the tongue weight capacity is 600 pounds and the gross trailer weight capacity is 6,000 pounds (at the 48 inch extension).
If you can give me the tongue weight of the trailer as described above then I can make a weight distribution recommendation for you. I have included a link to our FAQ article on weight distribution for you.
