How To Find Correct Replacement Axle for EZ Loader Trailer
Published 09/22/2021 >
Question:
I have a 1996 EZloader single axle boat trailer that is in need of an axle. This originally came with brakes, which were disconnected before I purchased it. Is there an axle available preferably without brakes?

I don't have any way to look up the exact replacement axle for a trailer but you can find this yourself but simply locating the axle tag which has the capacity and length or you can physically measure. The most important measurements are the axle diameter, hub face length, and spring center length. This can then be used to find a replacement from the list below. It's possible to use non-braked hubs with most of these options.
The Dexter Trailer Axle Beam with EZ-Lube Spindles part # T3584F-EZ-8974 for example is 2-3/8" diameter, has an 89" hub face, and 74" spring center.
