When you're working with limited space, a full-size cooktop just doesn't fit. This compact 2-burner setup gives you usable heat and a covered surface, so you can cook full meals without giving up counter space.
If a burner goes out unexpectedly, gas can continue flowing without you noticing. Each burner includes a Flame Failure Device that shuts off gas when no flame is detected. This adds protection in enclosed spaces where airflow or movement can affect the flame.
You don't need a lighter or match to start the burners. The piezo igniter creates a spark directly at the burner. This simplifies startup and avoids repeated attempts to get the flame going.
The 2-piece bi-fold glass cover folds up as a splashguard while cooking. When closed, it creates a flat surface that can be used for light prep or to reclaim counter space when the cooktop is not in use.
This cooktop uses 12V DC power for ignition and LED knob lighting. The burners run on propane, but the electrical connection is required for normal operation of the ignition system and indicators.
The cooktop includes one 8,000 BTU front burner and one 6,500 BTU rear burner. This setup allows you to cook two items at once while still fitting within a smaller footprint.
The control knobs include LED lighting that changes color based on status. Red indicates gas is flowing, giving you a clear visual cue when a burner is active.

Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this Greystone Propane RV Cooktop with glass cover. Now, this is a compact 12-inch, two-burner propane cooktop. This designed specifically for your RV or small cooking spaces. This is going to run on propane for the actual cooking, but it also uses 12-volt DC power. So it's gonna tie right into your RV's electrical system for things like ignition and lighting.
So I'm gonna give you an overhead look here. You see the glass top, I'm just going to pop that open and it just kind of folds up like that. So you've got two burners. The front one is going to be a bit stronger at 8,000 BTU, which is gonna be great for boiling or cooking faster. The rear burner is at 6,500 BTU, so that's better for simmering or lighter cooking.
So this is gonna give you some flexibility even though it is a smaller unit. One of the big safety features is the flame failure device, or the FFD, on each burner. Basically, if the flame ever goes out unexpectedly, it's gonna automatically shut off the gas so you don't have propane leaking. So that's gonna be really important in an enclosed space like an RV. And I just wanted to show you here that this does use cast iron grilling here, so that's gonna be easily be removed as well if you need to do any cleanup.
There's a little rubber gaskets here for lack of a better description, and the posts are just going to drop in there. So you're not gonna have to worry about this rattling when this is moving around. This does use the Piezo lighter, I think I'm saying that correctly, or igniter rather, the Piezo igniter. So you're not gonna need matches or a lighter, you're just going to turn the knob. And as you can see, I do have this connected to power here.
Let me see if I can, when you turn the knob and you push it, that's going to activate that Piezo igniter. I think you can probably hear that. Let me go ahead and turn my lights off here in the studio. So when you have the lights on, they're gonna be blue when it's not active, but then when you turn the knob, it's going to turn red. So you're going to easily be able to see at a glance if one of the burners is active. Turning my lights back on here, you can turn the lights on the dials off, just like that. So that's pretty cool. I like that. It's gonna be, again, easy to see if those are on or not. And then, I went ahead and unhooked this from power. So I have the freedom here to spin this around a little more easily, just to give you a view of the rear section as well. So as you can see, this is where you're going to tie the propane in, hook that up, and then you got the wires here to wire that into your 12-volt, well, near 12-volt power. So the top again has that bi-fold glass cover that's gonna close over the burners when it's not in use. That's going to give you extra counter space, keep things looking clean. And then, as I mentioned, I think I called these grills, they're grates. That's the word I was looking for. So sturdy cast iron grates for cookware. Size-wise, this is pretty compact. Let me see if I can give you some measurements here just so you have a good idea of the size. So the overall width, end to end, we're sitting pretty close to 12 inches. The overall length, I'm gonna include the knobs there. Hopefully you can see that, maybe you can't. Let me see, they're tying that in there a little bit. I want to say we're pretty close to 22 3/4 inches, almost 23 inches. And again, I'm including the knobs there as best as I can. The overall height, about 4 1/8 inches or so. You're gonna be able to install this on its own or pair it with a 13-inch range hood if you want ventilation. Weighs about 15 pounds, so it's not terribly heavy at all, but it is solid. It's well-built, well-designed. I think it's gonna hold up really well for you. So it's gonna be a solid option if you want a space-saving cooktop, that's still gonna feel like a real stove with good heat output, built-in safety features, and this clean, modern, black look, black finish, that will go with just about any type of decor that you got going on in your RV kitchen.
