The only hitch for your 2017 Subaru Forester that does not require enlarging holes is the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 76182. In regards to the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13144 and etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e98839 the better option is the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e98839. These hitches are essentially the same, but the reason the etrailer hitch is better is because it has a matte black finish compared to the glossy finish of the Curt, so the inevitable scratches that occur are going to be much less noticeable on the etrailer hitch.
