Question:
I have a 2017 Renegade Classic RV built on Freightliner Cascadia chassis. It has air brakes. I am towing a two axle car hauler trailer with electric brakes. The distance from phone to controller would be 31 feet. Will this controller work for my application?

The Bluetooth range of the Curt Echo Mobile brake controller part # C51180 that you referenced is 50 feet so it would easily work on your setup that has a length of 31 feet. Also worth mentioning is that if for some reason you did lose connection it would retain it's last used settings and would function like normal till a connection is reestablished. the only function you wouldn't have access to if this happened would be the manual override function.
