Question:
I have a 2008 class c Freedom Express RV. Only the lights run while on battery only, no recep/outlets. What inverter should I buy? 2000 Watt I want only the receptacles hot when using batteries only. For TV, Coffee Pot and Laptops and chargers. Should I change out the existing converter or just add the inverter?

The correct inverter for your setup is really going to come down to the wattage requirements of the appliances you will be using in your 2008 Freedom Express RV when running off the battery bank.
I included a chart that goes over common wattage requirements for certain appliances, and based off what you are wanting to power a 2000 Watt Inverter like the # PD64FR will likely work, but if you try to run any additional appliances at the same time you may run into issues.
It would not hurt to step up to a 3000 Watt Inverter like the # 34275013 if you think there is a possibility of you using more appliances/high wattage usage appliances than the ones you mentioned.
There is no real reason to replace your existing converter if it is working, so I would just add an inverter. It is not recommend to run the entire power center off of the inverter.
I included videos of the products mentioned for you to take a look at.
