I have included a link to the installation instructions below for the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C55317. This harness is custom fit for the following vehicles.
1987 - 1994 Dodge Dakota
1986 - 1994 Dodge Ram Pickup
2000 - 2002 Dodge Ram Pickup 3500 - Cab and Chassis
1994 - 1994 Dodge Ram Pickup Pickup - 6-1/2 Foot Bed - Standard or Step Bumper
1994 - 1994 Dodge Ram Pickup Pickup - 8 Foot Bed - Standard or Step Bumper
1986 - 1994 Dodge Ram Pickup Pickup - Deepdrop Bumper
1986 - 1993 Dodge Ram Pickup Pickup - Standard or Step Bumper
1987 - 1994 Dodge Dakota without factory trailer connector
The connectors are designed to plug in line of the factory connectors located at the rear of your vehicle. The connector with the yellow and brown wire if for the drivers side while the green wire connector is for the passenger side. The tail light connectors will include 4 wires but the Curt portion of the harness only needs to connect the 3 wires to get the correct inputs for the trailer lights.
If you are unable to get one of the connectors to connect properly be sure to check both ends of the connector for any damage that may prevent them from connecting and that it is properly oriented.
