RV Safe Propane Gas And Carbon Monoxide Detector Dimensions

Question:

Replacing an old Atwood LP detector. Hole size is 31/4” x 4”. Will the 2-Wire RV Propane Gas and Carbon Monoxide Detector cover the hole?

The 2-Wire RV Propane Gas and Carbon Monoxide Detector # RS54FR is a flush mount design that has a cover plate with 7-1/4" length x 3-3/8" height x 1/4" thick with mounting holes that are center to center 6" apart so you should be able to easily cover the hole from your previous LP detector.
