Question:
an Equal-i-zer hitch head marked E20Jinch that takes the 1.5 bars. Can you tell me if it is the 12,000 or 14,000 rated hitch?

I spoke my contact at Equal-i-zer and he told me that since it has 1 1/2" bars it is probably rated for 12,000 lbs. He said the way to tell for sure is to measure the bolt channel. If it measures 3/8" it is a 12,000 lb hitch, if it measures 1/2" then it is a 14,000 lb hitch.

I have the same question. Exact what did you mean by “bolt channel” and where is it locates on the hitch head? Thanks.
