How Much Height Will Curt 16027 Puck Adapter Rails Add to 5th Wheel Hitch Height

Question:

If I install this puck adaptor will it set to high for my trip fold tarp cover to go on? I have a #2900 pull rite super glide with rail system. Can you adapt the puck rails only on this fifth wheel? I saw a pic where there Bolting the puck adaptors on this 5th wheel. Taking off the rail adaptors. Thank You

The Curt 16027 OEM puck system rail adapter which we offer as part # C88KR would add 2-1/2 inches to the installed height of your 5th wheel hitch. From what I read online, the top of the PullRite 2900 sits 18-1/2 inches tall so using the # C88KR would raise that to 21 inches. With that information, you can measure the distance from the floor of your truck bed to the underside of the tonneau cover in order to see if you'll be able to close the cover with the hitch in place.

We don't offer PullRite products, so I unfortunately couldn't say if the hitch could be modified.
