Replacement Landing Gear for 2009 Keystone Cougar 5th Wheel

Question:

I have a 2009 cougar SRX 31 toyhauler and the landing gear is having multiple issues. So I wand to completely replace the landing gear and drive motor and gearbox. What is the proper replacement.

The Stromberg Carlson Electric Landing Gear Set - Weld On - 34-7/8" Lift - 5,500 lbs # LG-1 is a complete landing gear and motor set that's a popular replacement we've seen used on many Keystone Cougar 5th wheel trailers, but you'll still want to confirm a few measurements.

The two things you will want to measure will be the distance of the black outer tube of the jack and the distance between the frame clamps (this measurement can differ depending on where the weld stops are located). Measure from the underside of top bracket to top of lower bracket as shown in the diagram. I have linked to diagrams for your convenience. If your Keystone 5th wheel matches either one of these diagrams then the # LG-1 will be a good fit for your trailer.
