Recommended Wheel and Tire Combo To Replace 9.5R16.5 Tires On 16000lb Triple Axle Boat Trailer

Question:

trailer tires on my boat trailer at Goodyear workhorse radials 9.5R16.5 LT. Looking for options for tire replacement, also recommendation on a rim 8 bolt with tire combo. E rated tires will have a 16,000 lb boat on it. I would need 6, it looks like the offset is in the middle. Any recommendations? Thanks

We have just what you are looking for!

I recommend going with the Westlake ST235/80R16 Radial Tire w 16" Bobcat Aluminum Wheel - 8 on 6-1/2 - LR E - Black # LHAWSO513B which have a tire with the exact same overall dimensions of your 9.5R16 tire at 30.8" tall and 9.5" wide, so this would be a perfect replacement option. The included wheel has the 8 on 6-1/2" bolt pattern you are needing along with the 0 offset.

This combination has a max load rating of 3520 lbs at 80 PSI, so since you are needing 6 tires this would give you a total capacity of 21,120 lbs which is plenty for your 16,000lb boat.
