To operate anything for an extended period requiring this size inverter, I suggest at least a battery bank of at least 400 AH minimum. The quantity of batteries is dependent on the rating of each. For example, the Go Power AGM Deep Cycle, # 34276285,is rated for 100 amp hours; I suggest having at least 4.
