You shouldn't have to start the generator just to make coffee away from hookups. This inverter converts 12V battery power to pure sine wave AC with up to 2,000 watts of output, and its 20 millisecond transfer keeps equipment running.
Stopping for the night without hookups shouldn't limit your battery power to lights and phone chargers. This inverter converts your battery bank's 12V DC power to pure sine wave AC with up to 2,000 watts of output. A 4,000-watt surge lasting 5 seconds handles startup demand, keeping higher-draw AC equipment working away from shore power.
A fridge cutting out or a computer rebooting every time shore power drops can turn a normal stop into a reset routine. The built-in automatic transfer switch changes sources in 20 milliseconds, with Normal mode for fridges or tools and Fast mode for computers or servers. Your connected equipment keeps operating as the system moves between external power and your battery bank.
When every amp-hour has to carry your setup until the next charge, conversion loss matters. Peak efficiency of 91% puts more of your battery bank's stored energy toward connected loads, while low standby consumption means the inverter uses less battery power when your AC loads are light. You get more usable AC power from the energy already on board.
An inverter mounted in a storage compartment can leave you checking cables and listening for fans when something changes. The LCD displays real-time voltage, load, and system status, while an available flush wall-mount remote control (sold separately) brings monitoring to a more convenient location inside your RV. You can set parameters for low-voltage shutdown and overload, short-circuit, and overheat protection respond to problem conditions, keeping your operating status visible and giving the system a defined shutdown response.
Equipment tucked into an RV compartment still has to deal with changing temperatures and damp environments. Marine-grade durability supports use in high-moisture and saltwater areas, while temperature-regulated cooling fans adjust airflow as heat builds. Your inverter keeps cooling matched to the conditions around it.

Hi everyone, Steve here with etrailer. Let's take a look together at the Rich Solar NOVA 2K12 2000 watt, 12 volt pure sign wave inverter with the built-in transfer switch. So if you're building an off-grid system, your inverter's gonna be the heart of everything, right So when you turn your battery power on, it's gonna turn that power into usable household electricity. Now, as I mentioned, this is designed for RVs, vans, cabins, trailers, and off-grid power setups. You get all your main hookups that are gonna come through the back here. And if we take off this panel here, you can see inside where a lot of those connections are gonna be going through and making their connections down here in the big blocks here.
And then these orange connectors here for the smaller wires. Now this inverter is gonna convert 12 volt DC battery power into clean 120 volt AC power, and that's gonna allow you to safely run appliances and electronics tools and other everyday devices from your battery bank, right So, and because this produce produces a true pure sign wave output, it's safe for sensitive electronics. So you're getting a true utility style power, much like you would at your house for those TVs, laptops, coffee makers, modern appliances that are sensitive, this is gonna be great because those don't respond to the cheap modified sign wave inverters that are out there, and you can potentially get lines in your TV and in your screens and it can damage those electronics. So to me, the biggest advantage here is the built-in transfer switch, right So when short power, generator power becomes available, and maybe it's, you know, kind of iffy at best, this will automatically switch between the AC power and the inverter power without requiring any kind of manual intervention. And again, it's all gonna do it from the inside.
If you take a look here at the screen, obviously it's not powered up with anything, so you won't see it, but when it's turned on, it'll be colorful. You'll get your output readings and stuff, you got all your fault indicators and your battery charging and usage and all that stuff. And then you can change those with those buttons, obviously. So this is gonna be a great real-world use. It's gonna give you a smoother experience, especially in RVs and off-grid systems, where you're gonna have to regularly transition between battery power, short power, or generator.
And this has lots of great built-in protections from safeguarding, from overload, overheating, low voltage, short circuits. So that's gonna protect both the inverter and all your connected equipment. It's about 12-inches wide, about 14.8-inches tall and about 4.1-inches thick. So obviously when it's installed, it's gonna be standing straight up like this. You got a reset button here on top, along with your fans for cooling, and a nice connection down here for the ground wire as well.
So again, folks, this is gonna be one of those systems that it's gonna help you to stop worrying about and thinking about your power because it's gonna do everything for you automatically. And just take a lot of that stress off your plate when you're out there trying to have fun and relax. Folks, I'm Steve with etrailer. Thanks for your time, and have a good one.
