Troubleshooting Airflow Direction With A MaxxFan Deluxe Roof Vent With Fan
Updated 08/04/2021 | Published 08/02/2021 >
Question:
I have 2 MaxxFan Deluxe installed in my Ram Promaster conversion, and I have to say Im really surprised with the air flow from these units. The air seems to emanate outward, with almost no air blowing straight down. You can sit directly under the fan and feel pretty much nothing, even on high. I actually get better downward flow sitting under one of these while it is turned off, shroud up, with the other unit on and ventilating air outward. Is there a vent fan with better directionality? or have you seen this before and is there something I can do to improve the performance of the fan? Thanks for your help! *sweating in california*

The MaxxFan Deluxe Roof Vent # MA00-07500K is reversible, which means you are able to both exhaust stale air out of your RV and bring fresh air in from the outside. To enter ceiling fan mode, close the vent while the fan is still running. The fan then circulates the air inside your RV like a ceiling fan.
