Can Fan on MaxxFan Deluxe Roof Vent # MA00-05301K Operate in Reverse

Hello, I have a few questions. If a power reversing switch, meaning a switch that reverses the polarity of the DC supply is added to the circuit, will the fan motor operate in reverse? Currently there is a Ventline V2094 fan installed in our coach. Will this fit in the framed opening or will some structural modifications be needed? If it will fit in the existing opening of our coach and you can price match I will definitely consider purchasing this product. Thank You.

I spoke with my contact at MaxxAir regarding the MaxxFan Deluxe Roof Vent # MA00-05301K that you referenced. He stated that the printed circuit board on this unit would not be able to handle reversing the polarity. Doing this would likely burn up the circuit board.
Your best option is to go with the MaxxFan Deluxe Roof Vent # MA00-05100K instead, which does feature a reversible fan that can bring air in or exhaust air out. Like the unit you were looking at, this fan is designed to fit an opening size of 14 inches x 14 inches.
