Question:
I have a 2014 Jeep Wrangler and use a Lock N Roll Trailer Hitch straight non-adjustable height to pull my Taxa Wholly Bear trailer. I need to get about a 2-4inch rise to make my trailer level to the ground. Instead of purchasing the adjustable Lock Nfoot Roll Hitch Item # 336VS503515, I would like to purchase the Buyers Products Adjustable Tri-Ball Hitch - Solid Shank with Chrome Balls Item # 3371802225 for but am not certain if the vehicle male end of my current Lock N Roll Hitch shank depth will fit into the receiving end of the Adjustable Tri-Ball Hitch 2inch shank receiver. the distance from the outside end to the middle of my pin hole is about 2 5/8. Im not seeing any info on the Item # 3371802225 as to the distance from the middle of the pin hole to the inside back. I need it to be at least 2 5/8inch in order to work. Any chance you have a measurement for the depth of that distance? Reference the ?inch in the photo.

Helpful Expert Reply:
While the shank of your current Lock N Roll articulating hitch would fit into the hitch opening of the # 3371802225 we can't recommend you go that route as it was not intended for use in any other way aside from with the adjustable ball mount setup.
Your best and safest solution would be the Lock N Roll Articulating Hitch part # 336VS503515. This gives you the height adjustability and since it's been tested there'd be no concern that it would be a dangerous setup.
