Will the Curt C56391 Trip Sensors or Errors on a Vehicle if a Trailer Light Goes Out?

Question:
If I install the Curt C56391 in my 2017 VW Golf Alltrack will any diagnostic codes get generated? For example, the car monitors supervises bulbs and lights up a dash light if a bulb burns out. Will the installation of this wiring harness affect or trigger a diagnostic code such as a burnt out light bulb?

I spoke to Curt and their wiring harness # C56391 should not trip any errors or sensors on your 2017 VW Golf Alltrack. They did point out that if it did, any time a trailer isn't plugged in said errors or sensors would be tripped as the circuit would not be completed.
