Question:
When I press the green “Test” button on the touch pad control panel the Even Brake doesn’t cycle the pedal clamp up and down three times. The touch pad lights and rv monitor suggest the test was good and the unit is working properly. The unit air compressor builds up and releases pressure, but the pedal clamp doesn’t cycle in and out as it once did.

Expert Reply:
The Roadmaster Even Brake Item # RM-9400 should not be releasing pressure after it builds up so you have an issue with your exhaust valve and need to replace it with the Quick Exhaust Valve for Roadmaster BrakeMaster or Even Brake Item # RM-450601-50. I recommend using some Thread Sealant Tape for Gas Lines Item # 37207-30025 as well to ensure a tight connection and prevent leaks.
