Since the Fan-Tastic Vent Model 6504-414 is out of production what you can do is upgrade the fan with the Fan-Tastic Vent 7350 Series Upgrade Kit - High/Low Style Base - White Item # FV807359. This kit comes with a remote and a bracket you can mount on the wall to put the remote in.
If you want to just completely replace the fan you can use the Fan-Tastic Vent Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan and Thermostat - Manual Lift - 14-1/4" x 14-1/4" Item # FV802250 or Fan-Tastic Vent Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan and Thermostat - Powered Lift - 14-1/4" x 14-1/4" # FV803350 as a suitable replacement.

I have a 6504/314r system but the wall mount 314r is all that seems bad. Is there a replacement for that wired controller? Since the fan is not remote controllable now, I don’t think the replace ‘remotes’ will replace the wall mounted unit.
