Since your 2014 Toyota Tacoma has a 7-way connector that is hardwired in you will need to cut the wires from the factory connector and hardwire them to the EZ Connector Magnetic 7-Way Trailer Connectors w/ Watertight Seal - Hardwire - Vehicle/Trailer End # 319-R7-01.
Before removing the factory wires from your connector you will want to use a circuit tester # PTW2993 to test the functions of each wire to make sure they get connected to the new connector in the correct location.
The # 319-R7-01 will get connected by making the following connections using heat shrink butt connectors # DW05745-5 and # DW05744-5:
White: ground
Red: left turn
Brown: right turn
Black: auxiliary power
Green: tail lights
Yellow: reverse lights
Blue: brakes
