I want to change it with a newer one ,but my tongue is 4inch wide... what would you guys recommend? Ive seen a lot of your product, and the mounting width is only 3.Is there any which is 4foot wide to mount? its a drum brake btw.. thank you for your help

Unfortunately, we don't offer a surge coupler to designed to slip over a 4 inch trailer tongue. I tried doing a Google search for a Dico model 5 to locate a recommended replacement, and got zero results and didn't get any results for 4 inch wide surge coupler either.
I believe your best choice would be a weld on application like # DM8759922 which would weld to the top of the trailer tongue. You'll want to use a professional welder to do this for you.
You'll also need a coupler like # DM12688-95 for a 2 inch ball or # DM15791-95 for a 2-5/16 inch ball.
