Expert Reply:
The vacuum line on the Demco SBS Air Force One # SM99243 allows the system to always supply enough air actuate to the brake pedal fully, which may not occur on some vehicles when flat towing with the power off. For the specific instructions for flat towing your 2021 Ram 1500 you'll always want to refer back to the owner's manual since it will detail all of the procedures needed to complete in order for your vehicle to be safely flat towed; the engine won't be towed running but there are some detailed steps that you'll need to run through.
You will want to completely install the Air Force One # SM99243.
