Troubleshooting No Brake Light Circuit Error of Roadmaster Even Brake
Updated 06/29/2021 | Published 06/27/2021 >
Question:
While running a self test the system activates electronically but the pushrod does not push the pedal. It activates twice and fails. The air pump seems to be fine. Post failure there is obviously pressurized air left over when I push the air relief button. Monitor states no brake light switch detected and to reset. Is this common, is this potentially a broken wire? This set up worked fine for a couple months and over 5k miles. Not a new set up. Thank you in advance.

It definitely sounds like a connection issue between the stoplight circuit trigger wire of your unit and the vehicle wiring. I would recommend checking there and fixing that connection and the issue should resolve.
