I have a broken off key in the lock and I’m afraid I will need to replace the assembly(unless theres a way to remove the broken shank). This image of this 2820 is the first I have seen that resembles the mechanism of my eXcargo from Sears. Can you provide any guidance? The box is in great shape and should be useful for years(I’ve stored in for 2 decades/ugh)

@Beye I would look online for some videos on how to remove keys, there are a lot of tips and tricks out there. As long as you're careful to not get it in the lock you can use a tiny dab of super glue on the other half to stick the key back together and pull it out. For a replacement key we would need to know the number on the lock core.
