Will the anchors fit into this pocket, since the pocket is tapered?

For the Rack'em Heavy Duty Stake Pocket # PK-BSP you will need to use a stake pocket anchor that is specifically designed to work with the 3" tapered pocket. The Stake Pocket Tie-Down Anchors # PK-SPTD will work with that size pocket. These anchors are 2-3/4" wide and 1-3/8" thick, the pin hole is located 3-1/4" from the mounting plate to the top of the pin hole.

The Stake Pocket Tie-Down Anchor # T35Z is designed to work with a stake pocket that accepts a 2x4 wood post. It is 3-1/2" wide, 1-1/2" deep and 4-1/4" from the mounting plate to the top of the pin hole. The CE Smith Stake Pocket # CE45004G is one that would fit the # T35Z.
