For your 2012 Chevy Sonic hatchback you can use Draw-Tite trailer hitch # 24878. I have included a link to the installation instructions for you to view. The recommended ball mount is # 3590. If you plan to tow, first check the vehicle owners manual for information on towing. For a 1-7/8 inch ball use # 19256 and for a 2 inch ball use # 19258. For trailer wiring use # 118640.
