Where Is Factory Trailer Brake Controller Port On 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe W/ Factory Tow Package?

Where is the plug under the dash on a 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe ?

The factory trailer brake controller port on your 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe is located underneath the dash just to the left of the steering wheel. It will be taped to another harness so it may take a bit of looking to find. Keep in mind that if your Tahoe does not have the factory tow package, the connector may not be there and you would need to hardwire a controller.

At this time (5/30/2021) the only plug-in adapter confirmed to fit is the Curt Custom Wiring Adapter for Trailer Brake Controllers - Dual Plug In # C51525.

For a compatible trailer brake controller I recommend the Curt Spectrum # C51170 as it is a very low profile controller with just a knob visible so it will not take away from the looks of the interior in your new Tahoe, and works perfectly with trailers that have up to 4 braking axles.
