Can Rhino-Rack RT Roof Rack Tracks Be Cut And Bent To Fit Curved Roof?

Question:
Are the end-caps removable to allow the tracks to be cut to size? I see only options that are slightly too long, or too short for my application. Are the tracks flexible enough to align with a slightly convex roof profile?

Yes, roof rack tracks such as the Rhino-Rack RT-Style Roof Rack Tracks - Rivet Mount - 92-5/16" # RRRTS518 have removable endcaps. You can simply cut the tracks to size then install the endcaps. These tracks are made of aluminum and can be bent to conform to a curved roof. I recommend starting in the middle and working your way to the edges to ease installation.
